Cat With Swimmer’s Syndrome Learns How to Run Thanks To Loving Care

When this tiny kitten first arrived, the owners couldn’t figure out why she had so much trouble walking. Then they got word that the cat had swimmer’s syndrome, which made the cat’s leg go outward when she tried to stand. To remedy the situation, they put medical tape around her legs in the front and back to brace them.

This helped the cat’s legs stay close together so they wouldn’t splay apart. Each day, they loosened the medical tape brace a little more so the cat could get used to walking without it. Her legs got stronger and she learned how to use them well.

Watch the video to see the progress this little kitten makes with time.

Now she can keep up with her cat siblings thanks to some added care.
