A cat arrived at an animal shelter in rough shape. The cat suffered chronic ear infections and hematomas. While the staff wasn’t pleased to have to make a tough call, they finally removed the cat’s outer ear flaps to give her some relief from the constant ear infections. But of course, this made it harder for this cat to get adopted.
To help the cat overcome her unique looks now that she had no ear flaps, one of the employees crocheted ears for the cat. The staff had to coax her a bit to wear the ears, but once she did, the cat won the internet.
