When a couple moved into a new home, they were surprised to find that it came with a cat. The cat was often in the backyard, just roaming freely. But when they tried to approach the cat or make friends with it, the cat acted like it didn’t have time or interest in such a friendship.
As the months passed, the couple became worried they would never befriend the cat that they named Carrot Cake. Slowly though, the cat’s attitude changed. Finally, the cat let the couple pet it when they would reach out a hand. The couple was so surprised, but in a really good way.
