Christina and her fiancé Vincent knew that they wanted a puppy that would grow up to be friends with the children they hoped to have one day. They went to their local shelter and adopted a puppy who they named Raven. However, Raven was so energetic that they knew she needed a friend as soon as possible.
They returned to the shelter in search of a cat to keep Raven company and be her new best friend. When the shelter workers brought out Woodhouse the kitten, Raven was so excited and they got along well.
