One day, when a man had some family over visiting, his son found a tiny kitten abandoned on top of a trashcan. The boy ran to his father for help. The dad was worried because the kitten appeared to be quite young as it had not yet opened its eyes. He knew they needed to get fluids into the cat immediately.
They fed the kitten some formula from when the children had been babies. When they called the vet, they were informed that the kitten would not live through the experience being abandoned so young.
