Minkus is a neighborhood cat who believes he is the guard for the whole neighborhood. He sits on the front porch of his owner’s home and watches the neighborhood to make sure nothing goes wrong. Everyone in the neighborhood loves Minkus and his care and love for his neighborhood.
The cat acts as though the stoop is his office where he checks up on the neighborhood day in and day out. The neighbors enjoy trying to make friends with Minkus but because he takes his guard role very seriously, he isn’t swayed by the neighbors’ friendliness. He won’t take a break from being in charge.
