Helen is a blind kitten. Tragically, this sweet cat was abandoned in a dumpster. If no one had found her, she would have died from extreme conditions. But thankfully, firemen nearby heard the cat and called in a local animal shelter to help. Once the shelter had rescued her from the dumpster, they took Helen to the vet.
The poor cat had suffered severe health issues and the vet believed the best next step for the cat would be to put her down. But the shelter wasn’t prepared to do that. They wanted this cat to survive. The vet team did all they could to help her heal, but they couldn’t save her eyesight.
