When a family moved into a new apartment, they found that someone had been squatting there. A cat and her litter of kittens were camped out in the vacant apartment unit. The family called the local shelter immediately. Although the shelter arrived on scene quickly, they were unable to save the baby kittens, though the mother was in good health.
