Mother Cats Are Found With Lead Hunting Pellets Trapped In Their Skin

A rescue team brought in two mother cats and their litter of eight kittens combined. These moms were so devoted to their little ones and seemed to be raising their kittens together as one great big family. The shelter noticed some funny lumps on the cats though. On the day that they spayed the cats, they made a shocking discovery.

Inside those strange lumps were lead hunting pellets. These cats had been rescued from a colony where the owners did not spay or neuter any of the cats. This left the cats to reproduce and make the colony so large, that it was uncontrollable.

And now, they have a safe home and better care.
